SSS Best Days Blog Hop!

Hey guys!

Welcome to my stop on day 2 of the Best Days blog hop, sponsored by Simon Says Stamp! I'm so happy you're here and can't wait to show you my cards, using some of the new products!

Day 1 of the hop was yesterday, so if you want to check that out, click here.

If you're hopping along today, you should've come from Heather Hoffman's blog. Isn't she talented?! Love her work! If you'd like to start from the beginning of today's hop, you can start here at Simon's blog

Simon will be giving away a $25 gift certificate at every stop on the hop from the comment sections! How awesome is that?! They'll announce the winners on their blog on Wednesday.

I was sent some of the new products and couldn't wait to play with them! I've created four cards for you today and I hope they give you some ideas and inspiration. All the products I used are listed below at the end of this post, in the affiliate links.

First up is the adorable, "Sweet Elephants" die set. This set comes with both a mama and a baby elephant. So cute!
I cut the images from white cardstock and then used Copic Markers for some easy coloring. You could definitely cut these from colored cardstock too. The sentiment is from an older set that I thought would be perfect for my design.

This next one is like springtime on a card! I am sooooo ready for all the snow to melt and warmer weather to take over!
The new, "Blooming Wave" die is a delight! I used the inlaid die cutting technique with the two "waves" across the center of the panel and then added a bunch more, separate flowers and leaves to fill in my design. I know I went a little nuts with all of them, but I couldn't help it. :) And again, a sentiment from an older set that I love!

My last two cards are my faves. If you know me at all, you know I love to color - especially flowers, so when Simon sent this stamp and die set to me, I was giddy! Remember Simon's "Spring Flowers" set? And their, "More Spring Flowers" set? Well, this one is called, "Even More Spring Flowers." Ha!

Pink and green is my fave color combo so I couldn't resist using those shades of Copics on these beautiful images. I used the matching dies, a heart die and a sentiment stamp and die set for my design.

And on my last card, I used just the stamp set and some water coloring. I do LOVE me some blues and greens too!

I hope my cards have inspired you! I ordered more of the new release the other day and I'm excited to get those products and play some more!

Your next stop on the hop is Bibi Cameron's blog. Get ready to be amazed because she makes fabulous cards!

Thanks so much for stopping by! ♥

The new release products are listed first, followed by all other products used.
